A review of the Watkinson and Carpenter family history beginning in Glemford, England 1648 followed by personal life stories growing up on a farm and my life journey.

Our goal was to gather as many pictures of the McHenry Distillery items that were unique and rare. Some of the pictures were supplied by James Fox and others were taken from collections and the owners did not want their names mentioned. Plans are being made by family members to open at a new location in an old feed mill in Benton in the future. We hope we captured pictures of most of the items, but, know many items are in the possession throughout USA. Book includes pictures of items from the original McHenry Distillery, Archabald, other States, McHenry reunion and other McHenry interests.

This book traces the author's direct Spurgin Ancestors from her Great Grandmother Immanda Caldonia Spurgin (1859-1939) to Immanda's 4th Great Grandfather John Spurgin (1678-1717) in London, England. It contains stories of their lives, times, migration and adventures. The book is of interest to someone with the same direct line. There are no stories on collateral lines. No aunts, uncles, cousins are included.

(2016) Reprint of "Reminiscences of Sunbury", originally published in 1910. This book covers the area of Sunbury, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania. It contains articles covering various subjects from Sunbury's early history up to the time of publication, providing a glimpse of what life was like in times past. The articles include both personal, biographical and historical details, making this an excellent reference for research. Henry Martin Bradley was born in Lee, Massachusetts, in 1824 and moved to Ohio in 1835. Despite the danger of wolves, a young Henry helped his family clear their Ohio land and farm in the 1830s. He owned and operated lumber mills in Michigan in the 1860s and 1870s and tells of the rough-and-tumble politics of the time. He prospected for iron ore in Minnesota in the 1880s. Late in life he owned an orange orchard in California and spent his winters there. Bradley died in Duluth, Minnesota, in 1918.
